Build Green New Hampshire: Meetings and Educational Series

Presented by: Tom Werst Sustainable Energy Engineer and Entrepreneur

    To register visit www.buildgreennh.com

The US EPA has been diligently working with various stakeholders over the past year to update the ENERGY STAR Homes program to reflect the widespread adoption of IECC 2009 across the US. The program has undergone two rounds of public comment and preliminary documents are available for review. This presentation will provide a preliminary look at some of the significant changes to the ENERGY STAR Program that will be phased in starting 1/1/2011. The Energy Star program is one of the most widely used rating programs for energy efficiency and is an integral part of both the NAHB Green Standard and LEED for homes. Come see how the national ENERGY STAR pro-gram is changing and start to get prepared for the new ENERGY STAR program in your area.

Speaker Tom Werst is a Sustainable Energy Engineer and Entrepreneur with more than thirty-two (32) years experience in energy engineering, technical training, consulting, project management; residential housing, construction and finance; and network design and implementation. His recent focus has been on sustainable energy; certifying ENERGY STAR Homes, providing BPI training services, alternative energy projects, and performing residential and small commercial energy audits.
