Grant Money Available for Your
Schools Committee
One-time matching grants of up to
$2,000 will be awarded to chapter green schools committees. Applications are due
July 2 by 11:59 PDT. Grant criteria and applications were distributed to
committee chairs May 24 and can also be found on the Extranet. Grants will be
awarded by July 23. Contact Emily Knupp

Green?" Show us!
In a 30-second video, tell us what
you're doing to redefine our future. We're looking to hear from everyone: from
children to the most seasoned professional, from student to chief executive.
Whether you're taking small steps in your daily life or creating the next big
green innovation, let us know, and it could end up on usgbc.org or maybe even
part of the Greenbuild 2010 opening plenary! Details are on the Extranet.

Summit
Presentations Starting June 4
The 2010 USGBC Federal Summit,
"Leadership in Sustainability from Coast to Coast," was a huge success with more
than 700 attendees. Powerful, inspiring speeches were delivered by
U.S. General Services Administration
Administrator Martha Johnson, former Mayor of Pittsburgh Tom Murphy and others.
