The 2011 Building New Hampshire Awards Program celebrates energy-efficient, high-performance building of new and existing buildings in New Hampshire.

A committee of regional building professionals selects the winners of the 2011 Building New Hampshire Awards, which honor those who have made significant contributions toward enhancing both residential and commercial buildings of the Granite State.

Winners of the 2011 Building New Hampshire Awards are the people to watch, as they're the ones who are producing some of the most beautiful, innovative, energy-efficient buildings and remodeling projects in New Hampshire.

Categories include community and cultural places, residential home building, and commercial spaces. All projects must be located in New Hampshire and must have been built or retrofitted using sustainable building practices and principles. While any applicant is eligible for entry, Energy Star, National Green Building Standard, LEED, and REGREEN certification programs will be considered equally.

Nominations for 2011 and all supporting materials are due by 5:00 pm EST on Friday, August 12, 2011. To learn more, go to www.buildingnh.com.

Winners for 2011 will be announced at a special reception and via a press release on November 2, 2011. Winners may be selected to be featured in Granite State Builder and Building New Hampshire News.
