Each year, Plan New Hampshire, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the Granite State’s quality of life through excellence in sustainable planning, design and development of the built environment, recognizes exemplary projects.  Nominations are now being sought for this year’s awards.

Projects must be located in NH and have been completed since 2006.  Although design is important, selection will be based on the project’s fulfillment of the Mission of Plan NH and incorporation of :

· Smart Growth principles;

· Sustainability;

· Social Responsibility; and/or

· Creative approaches to partnership and collaboration

Award selection will be made by a jury comprised of Plan NH members representing architects, engineers, landscape architects, planners, construction managers and/or others in the professions of the building industry.  Selected projects will be recognized at a Merit Awards Dinner at the end of March 2011.

Submissions are due March 3, 2011.  For more information, and an application form, please go to www.plannh.org and click on AWARDS.
