Kingston Hall at the University of Southern NH University opened in September of 2018 and is certified LEED Silver with 53 points (See here for the project scorecard). Located on the west side of campus, the 115,000 square foot project is designed to accommodate 382 freshman with a living / learning community, meeting the university’s goals of building community among the students, connecting with campus, and being highly energy efficient.

Residential wings include bedroom pods with shared bathrooms and lounges. Common areas include classroom space, a kitchen, a multipurpose lounge with a fireplace and a game room.

The focus of Kingston’s design is a ‘knuckle,’ a vertical hub of spaces at the center of the building. The knuckle is transparent with floor-to-ceiling glass to take advantage of the stunning views.

Kingston Hall received a Citation Award for Excellence in Architectural Design in 2019 from AIANH

Please note that SNHU requires that all individuals wear a mask to attend.
